Introductory Beginning |
|
For students new to yoga. No special skills are
necessary. This class introduces basic yoga postures, proper alignment,
and breathing techniques and forms the foundation for future practice.
Students may want to repeat this class before advancing to the next level.

Level 1 |
|
For students who have taken the Introductory
Beginning class and are ready to work with more difficult standing poses
and beginning inversions. Students can expect to be in this class for one
year.
|
Level 2 |
|
Classes are for students with 1-2
years Iyengar yoga experience. Focus is on standing poses. Headstand and
beginning back bends will be explored. |
Level 3 & 4 |
|
For students ready to work with more
challenging standing poses, inversions, back bends, forward bends and
twists.
Students must be able to do unassisted handstand, 5 min. headstand and shoulderstand and push up into back arch. |
Meditation |
|
This class is designed for students who are new
to meditation. We will warm up with gentle asana and breathing before we
begin a guided meditation practice. Please wear comfortable clothing for
seated meditation. |
Gentle |
|
A slower paced class geared more toward
strengthening stretching and relaxing. Good for those recovering from
injury, illness, and for chronic conditions. |
Kids
Yoga Class |
|
Bring
your child to play, sing and imagine as they use yoga to enjoy movement
and balance. Sara Foster was trained to teach kids yoga with Jodi Kanitor
at "Next Generation Yoga", the first all-kids yoga studio.
Please stay with younger children to watch or participate. Parents of
older children are invited to stay and watch. |
Private Classes |
|
Jeri is available for private classes to address
individual and special needs. These lessons can provide individual poses
for those recovering from injury, illness, and for chronic conditions. |
Yoga for Young Adults |
|
A beginning Yoga Class for students aged 14 - 18.
Students are also welcome in the Monday and Wednesday Intro Beginning
(3:30 - 4:30pm) if they would like to do Yoga more than once a week. |
